Job Description
nWay is looking for a Community Manager to work on a brand new multiplayer game with an innovative blockchain integration. The focus will be to utilize social media to build, nurture and grow the community and build fandom around this new product.
Responsibilities
- Develop the social media strategy to recruit and engage fans of the game
- Develop monthly editorial calendars of social media posts
- Develop programs to drive anticipation and engagement around major game updates
- Track social media metrics and community sentiment and report to cross-functional stakeholders and management
- Monitor and provide responses to LiveOp issues or in-game concerns
- Identify and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators
Requirements
- + years experience in a Community Management role with deep understanding of functional best practices
- In-depth experience with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Experience working on free-to-play games or related consumer products
- Experience working on a large global brand with a deep history and strong fanbase
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives on working independently and proactively
- Experience in fast changing environments
- Experience presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders and management
- Proven record of providing recommendations and implementing them for continuous improvements
- Excellent organizational skills
